Baby Maddox {A Birth Story}

I'm determined to get caught up on blogging. I've been so busy traveling and doing photoshoots that I haven't had time to sit down and update. Two months ago (omg...how has it already been TWO months!?!?!) I photographed this little boy coming into the world. Now, this wasn't my first time photographing a birth...but it still brought tears to my eyes. Watching two people become parents...watching a mother lay eyes on her new child after HOURS and HOURS of hard labor. Watching bonds form immediately. New life. New beginnings. Love. Honestly, it is one of the most breathtaking things I know I will ever witness. And even though I had only slept 2 hours within those 48 hours, capturing those remarkable moments made it all worth it. This is why I do what I do, because 20 years from now...these photos will still mean so much. Welcome to the world baby Maddox!
