Crystal & Mike {Maternity}
I absolutely love doing photoshoots on the Santa Monica Pier. There are so many awesome places to take pictures. And that ferris wheel? Um, AMAZING backdrop! It was a gorgeous day, and you would not know it by these photos...but there was probably about 2,345 (that's me guessing by the way) people on that pier! But with a little patience, I managed to get all the shots I had envisioned.

Corrina {Dancer}
So here I am trying to get caught up on blog posts! So many photoshoots lately that I haven't had time to update in awhile. So let me take you back to a photoshoot with a beautiful young dancer named Corrina. I was sick this day...so sick that I spent the morning at urgent care due to a sinus infection. One thing you should know about me is that it takes something HUGE for me to cancel a photoshoot. Being sick? Not that huge. I might not be able to breathe well or smell anything but I can still pick up my camera and take pictures. And I did just that. In fact, for those few hours I forgot I was sick. Being behind the camera is where I am most comfortable...my comfort zone.
So even though I had this nasty sinus infection, I still ended up loving this photoshoot and the pictures that came from it. Corrina was so easy to photograph. And she is such a beautiful dancer. I didn't even need to pose her because it was so natural for her. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!

Emily {Senior Session}
Meet Emily: one of the most awesome & beautiful teens I have ever met. I actually met her back in 2008 when I was visiting my sister in Idaho. I was very excited to find out she was coming to Los Angeles & wanted me to take her Senior Photos. It was one of those perfect shoots every photographer dreams of- Great weather. Perfect sunset. Great location. Lots of laughter. Great client. Great photos. Normally I don't post so many photos from one session on this blog...but I couldn't resist. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Reyes Family {Life with all boys}
So some of you reading this might recognize the lovely woman in these photographs. For those of you that don't, her name is Lindsea. She is my: best friend, partner in crime and photoshoot extraordinaire. She comes with me to newborn photoshoots and weddings to help out wherever she can (I refer to her as the baby Guru!). She has been a huge help to me throughout the years and has been one of my biggest supporters when I decided to pursue my passion as a photographer.
This past weekend I photographed her family. She lives in a boys' world. But honestly, her husband and kids are the best. Her boys, Noah & Landon are two of the most entertaining kids I have ever been around...which you can tell by looking through these photos! They are typical boys - rough housing, running, yelling, laughing. Never a dull moment....ever!
So thank you Lindsea, for all you do. I wouldn't have made it this far as a photographer without you.
